Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as required.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and standards during food handling and preparation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of any shortages.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations,



including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.

Requirements

- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
