We are seeking a Red Seal Certified Millwright to join a leading food manufacturing facility in Langley, BC.

Pay - Up to $50/hr

Shift - Afternoon

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute comprehensive maintenance and repair activities on food processing and packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability

- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues with a focus on minimizing downtime

- Assist in basic electrical troubleshooting and perform minor corrective actions where required (considered an asset)

- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance programs to proactively reduce equipment failures and extend asset life

- Perform detailed equipment inspections, identifying potential risks or deficiencies, and communicate findings to the maintenance team or leadership

- Actively contribute to planned plant shutdowns, including equipment overhauls, installations, and facility upgrades





- Support operational checks and monitoring of refrigeration systems, boilers, and broilers, with training provided as needed

- Perform precision welding and fabrication tasks, including stainless steel TIG and stick welding, to repair or modify equipment components

Qualifications:

- Red Seal Certification (Industrial Mechanic / Millwright) Mandatory

- 3 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, including meat and poultry processing environments, preferred

- Robust knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, and power transmission

- Experience working with automated and high-speed processing/packaging equipment

- Ability to work in refrigerated, wet, or fast-paced environments

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
