United Gulf Developments is a Halifax based company that has been responsible for the planning and construction of large scale development projects ranging from residential subdivisions to multi-use units for over 30 years.

We are hiring a reliable, full time residential cleaner to join our team. This role involves cleaning a variety of office spaces, residential buildings including common rooms, move-in and move-out cleanings for residential homes and apartments throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). This role may also include occasional labour work, lifting, moving furniture etc.

Typically cleaning assignments will be scheduled during daytime hours Monday -Friday but evenings and weekend availabilty may be required based on the nature of the industry.

Responsibilites

- Daily cleaning of our main office includes floors, garbages, surfaces,
- Perform deep cleaning of vacant residential properties (kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, floors, windows, baseboards, etc.) after tenants move out or renovations have been completed,
- Assist resident managers in cleaning lobbies, elevators, common rooms and hallways as required.




- Ensure each unit meets our cleaning standards before tenant turnover
- Communicate effectively with clients when necessary and report directly to the property manager,
- Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the job size
- Ocassional labour support as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

- previous experience in residential and commercial cleanning preferred
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- work independently with minimal supervision
- positive attitude and willingness to adapt to cleaning techniques and expectations
- ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies regularly
- Own cleaning supplies and equipment is an asset, but not necessary,
- Must have a reliable vehicle (you’ll travel to various job sites within HRM)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Punctual and professional is a must.
