PetNation is a 24/7 full-service animal hospital in Corktown, Toronto — GP, Emergency,

Surgery, and Dentistry under one roof. We're a young clinic with a strong clinical

foundation, and we are looking for a technician ready to work at the top of their scope.

The environment: 13,000 sq. ft. across four floors. 8 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, a

dedicated dental suite, CT, full-body and dental digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a full in-

house lab. The caseload spans routine wellness to complex emergency — often on the

same shift. We use AI-assisted workflow tools and run on Digitail as our practice

management system.

We're 24/7, which means rotational scheduling across days, evenings, overnights, and

weekends. We'll work with your availability where we can, and we're transparent about

what the rotation looks like before you accept an offer.

What we're looking for:

Strong independent clinical skills — ideally across more than one stream (GP, ER, or

Surgery). You can assess a patient before the DVM enters the room, anticipate what's

needed, and document accurately. You know when to move and when to ask.

Beyond the technical, we're looking for someone who is:

- Calm and consistent under pressure
- Reliable / Punctual
- Communicative — clear with the DVM, the client, and with teammates
- Collaborative — genuinely open to feedback and willing to grow
- Taking initiative
- Ability to thrive under a fast-paced workplace (thrive with emergency triage and anaesthesia)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical veterinarian experience (preferred)
- Education - Graduated from accredited veterinarian technician/technology program
- Asset:

Experience in GP, Emergency, Urgent Care, Anesthesia, Surgery and Laboratory

This role suits someone currently functioning with real clinical autonomy —

independently managing cases, contributing to patient flow, and occasionally guiding

less experienced team members.

What We Offer:

- $28.00–$37.00/hr, based on demonstrated competency
- Overnight and Sunday shift premiums
- Growth opportunities Opportunities
- Health and dental benefits
- Paid vacation and sick leave, in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act
- Paid meal breaks
- Continuing education support — funding and paid time off for CE and
- conferences
- Staff pet discounts
- Paid uniforms

worth showing up for.

accessible workplace. Accommodation is available throughout the hiring process in
