Due to an unexpected medical leave, we are looking for a caring and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE or Infant/Toddler) to join our team as soon as possible. We are flexible and welcome applications from educators seeking part-time or full-time employment.

We are looking for an educator with experience working in a licensed childcare setting who is nurturing, reliable, creative, and knowledgeable about BC Child Care Licensing Regulations. The ideal candidate is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.

Please note: We can only consider applicants who hold a valid BC ECE or Infant/Toddler certification and are legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of application.

Position Details

- Position: Early Childhood Educator (ECE or Infant/Toddler)
- Employment Type: Part-time or Full-time (Permanent/Casual options available)
- Start Date: As soon as possible but we can hold the position for a good candicate
- Language of Work: English
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a licensed childcare setting in BC (or equivalent experience)

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and implement programs that support children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Lead engaging activities including storytelling, music, arts and crafts,



and outdoor/community experiences
- Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and movement
- Support children's daily routines, including eating, dressing, toileting, and self-help skills
- Observe, document, and communicate children's development with families and team members
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Ensure all daily practices comply with BC Child Care Licensing Regulations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families

Qualifications

- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or Infant/Toddler Educator certification
- Experience working in a licensed childcare centre
- Solid knowledge of BC Child Care Licensing Regulations
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Current immunization records
- Minimum two professional references
