Pay: $21.50/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Contract: July 20, 2026 – Approximately September 15, 2026

We are currently hiring a Temporary Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk on behalf of our client in Mississauga. This is an excellent chance for an accounting professional with hands-on accounts receivable experience who is available to start July 20th for a temporary assignment through approximately September 15th.

Responsibilities

- Process cheque deposits accurately and efficiently
- Apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts
- Reconcile credit card, EFT, ACH, and cheque payments
- Process credit card payments through online payment portals
- Perform collection calls and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Create customer invoices and issue credits as required
- Reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation




- Support the accounting team with other administrative and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounting Clerk role
- Experience processing payments, reconciliations, collections, and invoicing
- Experience using an ERP system to complete accounting functions (experience with any ERP is acceptable; training will be provided on the client's proprietary system)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
