Ramada Ottawa on the Rideau is looking for an productive, courteous and professional Housekeeping Manager. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated, enthusiastic and self-disciplined individual with a passion for having a sincere desire to provide exceptional customer service and clealiness.

Essential Job Functions

- Establish and implement housekeeping policies & procedures.
- Set the highest levels of standards for cleanliness and quality controls in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas and hotel grounds.
- Prepare daily work assignments for all Housekeeping staff.
- Carry out daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas and staff areas.
- Prepare weekly schedules to maximize productivity and minimize labor costs.
- Effectively monitor cost controls for housekeeping and laundry departments.
- Monitor and maintain inventory for all linens, guest room supplies, housekeeping and laundry products




- Payroll review and approval of all staff
- Maintain inventory Control
- Provide documentation of staff conversation, warning, and disciplinary action
- Establish and maintain lost and found procedures
- Inspect and documents rooms daily, inventory control of all rooms before and after check out.
- Assist in room cleaning when requiredRequired Experience:
- Previous experience as Housekeeper Manager or Housekeeping supervisor a must.
- University or College degree in hospitality an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Strong attention to details and an eye for quality.
- Proven leadership abilities and a professional attitude.
- Strong English language.
- Basic computer skills.
- Hard working, dependable and responsible individual.
- Flexible schedule.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
