Position Summary

Lind Equipment is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading drawings, fitting components, fabricating assemblies, and producing high-quality welded products while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Take accurate measurements and plan fabrication layouts.
- Set up and prepare components for welding and fabrication.
- Cut material using automatic saws and other fabrication equipment.
- Operate grinders and hand tools for part preparation and post-weld finishing.
- Align, fit, and clamp components prior to welding.
- Perform MIG welding in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of welding and fitting experience.
- Minimum 3 years of fabrication shop experience.
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or Fabricator.
- Strong MIG welding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.




- Experience using fabrication equipment, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- CWB Welding Certification is considered an asset.
- Valid G Driver's License required.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
