Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Montreal or Quebec City, Canada
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

ESI Technologies is a Quebec-based IT consulting firm with over 32 years of experience specializing in information technology services.

We help organizations successfully deliver digital transformation initiatives in areas such as enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data management, and IT service management.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager who is eager to contribute to large-scale strategic initiatives while joining a team recognized for its expertise, collaborative spirit, and people-first approach.

Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor IT development projects.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, scope, and overall delivery.
- Coordinate business and IT stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Track project deliverables and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Lead and support development teams while facilitating Agile practices.
- Ensure compliance with development standards and monitor project and team performance.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
- Experience serving as Project Manager on two (2) IT development projects of at least 1,000 person-days each, with a minimum personal involvement of 200 person-days per project and responsibility for team coordination.
- Experience serving as IT Project Manager on two (2) projects of at least 2,000 person-days each, with a minimum personal involvement of 220 person-days per project, demonstrating:
- - Management of schedules, budgets, and scope;
- Coordination of business and IT stakeholders;
- Risk, issue,



and dependency management;
- Deliverable planning, monitoring, and oversight;
- Planning, coordination, and tracking of IT development projects.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with methodologies such as Macroscope, P+, Green Guide (Guide Vert), DID, GPS, or equivalent.
- PMP or other PMI certification.
- Master's degree in Project Management or a related field.
- Experience in project financial management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
