This driving position runs 10 to 14 days on the road per month with an average of 10,000 to 12,000 miles. The driver will handle LCV open board and Canada/US long‑haul runs, covering any of the lower 48 states when LCV is not available. The schedule is flexible and includes Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Turnpike pay package applies.
Responsibilities
- Operate LCV trucks and Canadian/US long‑haul routes as required.
- Maintain 10–14 day runs and meet mileage goals.
- Reset on the road as needed, completing up to 24 days on the road per month.
- Cover scheduled runs as operatedially needed for up to 4 weeks.
- Drive all commodities, including meat and alcohol.
- Operate on Highway 17 in Ontario for 12 months/year and U.S. mountainous routes for 12 months/year.
- Lift 50 lbs or more as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of tractor‑trailer experience.
- Valid Class 1/AZ license.
- Eligible to drive in the U.S.
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable LCV experience, including winter conditions.
- BC mountain experience preferred.
- Availability for versatile schedule, including weekends.
