Minimum Qualifications

- 3rd or 4th year of University working towards an Engineering degree or equivalent
- Some product design and CAD design experience, proficiency in mechanical drafting
- Strong documentation, organizational & project management skills
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving & analytical skills
- Must be able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
- Must have valuable organizational skills, be a self‑starter, team player and an active listener

Duties and Responsibilities

- Drawing creation, update, review, release, etc. from rough concepts up to detail/final drawings considering tolerance/fits, GD&T;, and MSM/Customer specifications.
- Trial coordination, data analysis, and follow up
- Coordination of outside vendors (sub‑contracted testing, processing of parts, supply of components, etc.)
- Cycle time studies and bottleneck identification
- Problem solving including root cause investigation, data analysis, and presentation
- Assist in equipment design, build, installation, and commissioning
- Assist in workcell layout and improvement projects
- Ergonomic assessment and improvement
- Tooling and gauging design, build, and implementation
- Shipping of parts, tooling, etc.




- Support with continuous improvement, suggestion program, quality improvement, and cost reduction projects
- Initiate and embrace company change
- Maintain proper filing system to ensure all information is properly stored and easily retrieved; comply and participate in monthly Health & Safety Quiz
- Provide Engineering support to other departments as directed by the Engineering Manager or designate
