The Opportunity

Highspring is seeking an AI Security Developer (Dev SecAI) to support a large-scale technology transformation initiative focused on building an AI-driven software delivery ecosystem. This role combines software development, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity expertise to help create intelligent solutions that strengthen secure development practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

You will design and implement AI-powered systems that analyze source code, identify security risks, and provide automated remediation guidance, enabling development teams to build secure applications faster and more efficiently.

What You’ll Do

- Design and develop AI-powered solutions that enhance secure SDLC practices through automation and intelligent analysis.
- Build systems leveraging large language models (LLMs), including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, or similar technologies, to analyze source code repositories.
- Develop automated capabilities to:
- Identify security vulnerabilities within codebases.
- Detect insecure coding patterns, configuration issues, and compliance risks.
- Generate actionable remediation recommendations for development teams.
- Create and refine prompt engineering strategies for security-focused code analysis and risk detection.
- Integrate AI-enabled security scanning capabilities into CI/CD pipelines, including Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, and Azure Dev Ops.
- Partner with security engineers and development teams to validate AI-generated findings and improve detection accuracy.
- Enhance traditional application security processes through AI-driven insights and automation.
- Implement feedback loops and evaluation frameworks to continuously improve model effectiveness and reduce false positives.
- Research emerging AI security technologies and recommend innovative applications within enterprise environments.

What You Bring to the Table





- Strong software development background with experience in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Experience developing AI, machine learning, or LLM-powered applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering and conversational AI design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering, Dev Ops, and security teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex security requirements into practical technical solutions.

- Python, Java, or comparable software development languages.
- AI/ML application development and integration.
- Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
- API integration with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar providers.
- Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) concepts.
- Application security best practices and OWASP Top 10 knowledge.
- CI/CD pipeline design and Dev Ops practices.
- Security automation and secure coding principles.
- Code scanning, vulnerability detection, and security analysis tooling.
