Join the NORTH WELLINGTON HEALTH CARE team as a Casual Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology at Louise Marshall Hospital. Focus on patient care, chemotherapy teaching, and day care support.

This position is an excellent 'Grow Your Own' opportunity for individuals interested in oncology who are not yet fully qualified. Candidates who are enrolled in or have completed the Provincial Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Course are preferred.

You'll contribute to patient care plans and improvement processes while delivering essential services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Administer and educate on chemotherapy therapies
- Provide palliative care and emotional support
- Participate in quality assurance projects
- Facilitate treatment planning and referrals

Requirements:

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BScN or equivalent nursing degree
- Completion of mandatory courses in chemotherapy and oncology
- Hands-on experience in medical procedures
