Your role on our team:

The CWHC General Manager (GM) provides strategic leadership, drives sustained growth and profitability of a multi‑store agriculture machinery dealership chain within the assigned territory, and ensures the highest level of customer support and service.

The GM manages multi‑retail locations, leads business planning and results, and upholds the CLAAS brand strategy.

- Progressively develop business processes to grow profitable ag‑dealership retail stores.
- Utilize competencies to build and develop personnel in a flexible, multi‑location organization.
- Direct retail revenues and implement standards for tactical growth in cooperation with Global CLAAS Retail leadership.
- Control operating expenses, including budget responsibility.
- Manage after‑sales support to CWHC/CLAAS retail customers, ensuring service is above peer groups.
- Analyze and identify gaps, develop and implement strategies to strengthen, optimize, and expand business options.
- Act as a change agent to align and execute business decisions and relationships in accordance with the Global CLAAS Retail business strategy.
- Perform “go‑to‑market” analysis of business regions to aggressively increase market penetration and brand awareness.
- Monitor brand identity within CWHC/CLAAS Retail, ensuring maximum impact in the market.
- Hire, train, develop,



and appraise staff; conduct performance appraisals, provide continuous feedback, and handle disciplinary matters in line with company policies.

Note: This position requires frequent auto travel, a valid driver’s license, safe driving history, overnight travel, and weekend or evening work.

Your profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Ag Economics, or related field (Masters’ preferred, not required).
- 7–10 years of experience running and growing retail operations in relevant industry sectors.
- Excellent sales, networking, and negotiation capability with the innate ability to persuade and influence others.
- Business‑and‑sales minded with practical industry experience and knowledge of captive dealer networks.
- Proven success in optimizing dealer performance, network impact, and sales growth.
- Strong understanding of parts and service department functions and how they contribute to store profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Strategically minded, process‑driven, analytical change agent and decision maker with a explicit vision for improvement.
- Minimum five years of supervising exempt and non‑exempt employees; experience in team supervision, training, and staff development.
- Exceptional project management skills with a track record of managing multiple projects.
- Excellent change‑management skills – proactive, self‑motivated, and ownership of tasks.
- Able to conduct presentations and public speaking.
- Proven ability to launch new product lines into market.
- Proven customer‑relationship management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
- Knowledge of local, regional, and national regulations for business practices, employment, and safety.
- Farm background preferred, not required.
