Overview

Join Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge as a Journeyperson HVAC. You will apply your trade skills to ensure guest comfort and safety in a luxury hospitality setting, with a focus on HVAC installation, maintenance, and compliance with codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for all HVAC related trade work at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
- Installation, repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment
- Preventative maintenance of equipment pertaining to HVAC
- Ensure all HVAC department work complies with federal and provincial codes and regulations
- Maintain power tools in good and safe working condition
- Possess a flexible work schedule based on volume of business
- Train and assist the shift maintenance colleagues
- Assist other trades as they relate to HVAC maintenance
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- High school and/or technical school education required
- Provincial Journeyperson’s certificate for Province of Alberta required




- HVAC experience or general knowledge of the trade required
- Gas Fitting Ticket an asset
- Valid Alberta driver’s license required
- Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
