What You’ll Need

- 5 to 7 years of related experience with transmission and distribution protection and control systems
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and registration with APEGA as a Professional Engineer or equivalent
- Advanced experience in ETAP (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program) for arc flash, short circuit, motor start up, and load flow study modelling
- Experience in industrial facility and/or utility environments, up to 260 kV
- Familiarity with AESO, AUC, NERC-related Alberta Reliability Standards, and transmission requirements
- Experience with GE, ABB, and SEL relay programming and interface software
- Experience in fault analysis, report writing, and working in multidisciplinary teams
