Reporting to the Provost & VP Academic, the Dean plays a crucial role in shaping strategic directions within BCIT’s School of Transportation. This position requires at least five years of senior management experience and is responsible for aligning educational programs with industry needs.

You'll ensure resource allocation, quality assurance, and operational planning for the School.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop strategic objectives for the School
- Align curriculum with industry trends and needs
- Lead and coach faculty and Associate Deans




- Oversee quality assurance and program delivery
- Manage external relations to enhance program visibility

Requirements:

- Graduate degree at Master’s or Ph.D. level
- Minimum five years in senior management
- Proven record in academic leadership
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Understanding of post-secondary education issues
