Join LandSea as a 2nd Cook aboard the MV Isabelle in Squamish, BC. This contract position requires cooking skills and an eye for kitchen cleanliness. As a 2nd Cook with LandSea, you will prepare meals, assist in inventory, and maintain a sanitary kitchen environment. Located on a floatel, this role provides a unique culinary experience in a remote setting. To excel, you must possess strong knife skills and organizational abilities while adhering to food safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare various meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Set up dining areas and restock during service
- Clean kitchen area after meal service
- Maintain kitchen appliances and ensure proper sanitation
- Report issues to the 1st Cook and assist with inventory Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cook
- Food Safety certification in British Columbia
- Ability to work in a diverse setting
- Strong verbal and written English skills
