A220 Control Laws Product Leader

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Control Laws Product Leader (f/m) to join our Aircraft Controls team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will closely work with Flight Control Laws teams in Mirabel and Toulouse.

You will be part of the Flight Characteristics team responsible for the development and certification of the A220 flight control laws.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as A220 Control Laws Product Leader will be to be the main point of contact for the A220 manual and automatic Flight Control Laws new development and to coordinate, support and monitor the activities related to the development.

Your challenges:
- Coordinates, supports and monitors activities to ensure manual and automatic control laws deliverables meet the agreed program requirements in Time, Cost, Quality and Maturity




- Ensure close coordination with other teams interacting with Control Laws in order to get a consolidated planning
- Support budget definition and ensure strict adherence
- Represent the team in project reviews
- Be responsible for the planning and workload of the subcontractors
- Lead the process to identify, manage and elevate changes, risks and opportunities associated with the Control laws deliverables
- Consolidate the Risk & Opportunities (R&O;), and lead the CoC R&O; reviews
- Manage the technical systems interfaces within A220 new development Control Laws perimeter
- Support Processes, methods and Tools to be used and define Mirabel team on-boarding plan and ensure adherence to it. Identifies additional tools needed when relevant.

Your boarding pass:
- You have a Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in Aeronautical Engineering; a background in Flight Control Laws is required;
- You have at least 10 years of experience in the Aerospace industry, and at least 5 years of experience in control laws development, understanding the interdependencies at Aircraft level;
- You have experience in Project Management : Plans, schedules, routebooks, stakeholders management, managing interdependencies, identifying risks and mitigation plans, and adapting to changing situations and emerging obstacles;
- You possess a deep technical understanding of flight control laws, enabling you to effectively coordinate complex activities, anticipate dependencies, and ensure the control law specialists have all necessary inputs at the right time;
- You have valuable interpersonal skills allowing you to work efficiently in our cross functional team and interface with many different stakeholders, from different domains, different functions and different countries.
- You can work independently and demonstrate initiative to achieve your objectives;
- You are flexible and can adapt well in a dynamic workplace;

Travel Required: Occasional travel to France.
