*The Position *Tectonica Management Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and its projects, including payroll. We are seeking a candidate that is committed to a high level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail.

client invoicing and year end working paper file preparation for the company?s public accountant. Quality control for all financial inputs to the Construction Management custom software program. Payroll preparation from timesheet review to semi monthly processing and T4 preparation. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to management. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support for project planning and execution. Lead and mentor administration staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional development within the department.Qualifications CPA designation Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in public accounting or construction industry role* Proficiency in Sage 50 or similar platform; advanced Excel and Outlook skills required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
