Responsibilities
- Detect issues in aircraft structural systems and adjust and repair these systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and other applicable procedures;
- Repair and overhaul aircraft structural systems; fabricate, assemble and machine aluminum and composite parts;
- Perform routine maintenance and report on it;
- Inform the supervisor of irregularities in work tasks;
- Ensure work is performed according to quality standards, Nolinor Aviation policies and procedures, and applicable regulations;
- Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure work is completed according to schedule;
- Ensure the workplace is clean and safe at all times;
- Promote the quality management system and suggest improvements;
- Adhere to and apply safety policies;
- Collaborate on various innovative and challenging projects;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Required skills
- You have a DEP in aerospace structure assembly and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (an asset);
- You are able to read and work from technical drawings as well as other written instructions or design specifications;
- You have mathematical knowledge and an analytical mind, as well as the ability to demonstrate precision at a high level of quality and foresight;
- You are familiar with a variety of pneumatic, hand and sheet metal tools;
- You have excellent judgement and strong attention to detail;
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written;
- You are proficient in French (spoken and written) and have a good knowledge of English to understand technical manuals.
