Embark on a journey toward Journeyperson Certification as an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. As an apprentice, you will assist Journey Persons in repairing light and heavy equipment like trucks, loaders, and graders.

Your role will involve hands-on tasks, mentoring opportunities, and adherence to occupational safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment issues
- Work alongside Journey Persons to rebuild and fabricate parts




- Follow Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Perform tasks involving electric welding and acetylene cutting
- Maintain equipment and facility safety standards Requirements:
- Completed Heavy Equipment Technician First Block Level Training
- Familiarity with diagnostics and repair processes
- Valid Class 05 license in Newfoundland and Labrador
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
