The successful candidate will lead plant-level financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and internal controls while leveraging SAP and data-driven insights to optimize decision-making across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting &

• Internal Controls: Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes ensuring compliance with ASPE/GAAP and corporate policies Maintain general ledger integrity, including reconciliations and variance analysis* Establish and enhance internal controls to ensure audit readiness and compliance* Support internal and annual external auditsManufacturing Finance &

• Cost Accounting: Manage standard costing methodology and updates* Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labour, overhead) Oversee inventory including cycle counts, valuation, and obsolescence Review and improve Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and costingBudgeting, Forecasting &

Establish best practices and standardized proceduresQualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance CPA designation preferred* Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including advanced costing experience in a manufacturing environment* Strong, hands-on experience with SAP ERP (experience during SAP implementation is highly valued) Solid analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills An inquisitive, self-starting mindset with advanced Excel and data-mining skills* Strong communication skills and detail oriented* Proficiency in PowerPoint, Power BI is an asset* Highly organized and skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasksThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
