Assistant Manager – Job Requirements

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a rapid-paced restaurant environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Front house Manager with daily restaurant operations
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members during shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and health & safety standards
- close the restaurant, including cash handling and daily reportsl
- Train new employees and support ongoing staff development
- Ensure compliance with company policies, liquor regulations, and food safety procedures
- Help achieve sales, labour, and profitability targets

Qualifications





- Minimum 1 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Smart Serve Certification (required)
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
