Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Asistant Manager to join our retail team and drive excellence across store operations. In this pivotal role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will help foster a motivated team environment, optimize sales performance, and uphold operational standards.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their leadership skills while contributing to the success of a thriving retail environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist in supervising daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service excellence
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members




- Lead and motivate staff through effective training & development initiatives, ensuring high performance and engagement
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering activities to maintain accuracy and security
- Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities
- Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to drive store traffic and sales growth
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and store procedures
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone or in person, maintaining excellent communication skills
- Assist in budgeting, sales management, and organizational tasks to meet store goals

Experience

- Proven supervisory or team management experience within retail or customer service environments
- Solid background in retail sales, merchandising, and store management practices
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, purchasing, and inventory control
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative responsibilities
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers and staff
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and sales management tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Prior experience in training & development, leadership roles, or recruiting is preferred
