The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.Summary of Role & Responsibilities:Provide technical underwriting expertise for Small Business policies with a focus on IRCA automobile policiesAnalyze and evaluate results for your portfolio and use individual or collaborative judgment to ensure that profit and growth goals are metWork in a team setting,



while providing exceptional service to your assigned brokers in accordance with service standards with respect to current business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, certificates etc.Assist with training and coaching of other staff as requiredBuild strong inter-department relationships that encourage Unica’s corporate cultureCommunicate results, outstanding issues, industry trends and business opportunities to the Commercial management teamRecord underwriting information for the purpose of evaluation, assessment, audit and profitabilityEducation and Experience:University / College degreeCIP or CRM designation obtained or working towards one or both designationsFCIP is an assetMinimum 2 years of Commercial underwriting experienceTechnical knowledge and experience working in both property/casualty and automobile linesKnowledge of underwriting principles, concepts, and methodologies in a commercial environmentKnowledge of commercial rates and pricing to effectively underwrite and attract target businessInterested in a career in a company where collaboration and diversity of expertise are at the forefront?
