EQ SG Assurance PAC is a Singapore public accounting firm providing audit, assurance and financial reporting services to companies across various industries.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Audit Assistant Manager to join our growing assurance team. The successful candidate will manage audit engagements, lead engagement teams and work closely with the Engagement Partner to deliver high-quality audit services.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage audit engagements in consultation with the Engagement Partner.

Develop the overall audit strategy and ensure engagements are performed in accordance with applicable auditing standards and the firm’s policies and procedures.

Lead and supervise engagement teams, including allocating work and monitoring progress against agreed timelines.

Review audit working papers and financial statements to ensure that audit issues are properly addressed and documented.

Perform complex audit procedures and resolve significant accounting and auditing matters.

Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and promptly to clients and the Engagement Partner.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

CA (Singapore), ACCA, CPA or an equivalent professional qualification, or currently in the final stages of obtaining the qualification.

At least five years of relevant external audit experience,



including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Proven hands-on experience in managing complex group audits and reviewing consolidation workings is mandatory.

Solid technical knowledge of group accounting, business combinations, non-controlling interests, foreign currency translation and consolidation adjustments.

Experience coordinating with component auditors and reviewing group reporting packages would be a strong advantage.

Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing.

Experience managing statutory audit engagements and leading audit teams.

Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet competing deadlines.

Professional, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong integrity and commitment to delivering quality work.
