La Carrosserie de Boucherville is looking for a meticulous and passionate auto body prepare r to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles prior to painting, ensuring that every surface meets the highest quality standards. They will work closely with body technicians and painters to ensure efficient work and a flawless finish.

Main Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces prior to painting. Perform manual and mechanical sanding of panels and parts. Apply body fillers and perform necessary finishing work. Clean, degrease, and mask vehicles before applying primer and paint.

Apply primers in accordance with procedures and manufacturers’ recommendations. Check the quality of the preparation and correct any imperfections before painting. Remove and reinstall certain parts as needed to facilitate repairs.

Use tools, equipment, and products safely and in accordance with industry standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Collaborate with body technicians, painters,



and other team members to meet production deadlines.

Comply with quality, health, and safety standards, as well as company procedures.

Qualifications Experience in vehicle preparation or a similar role (a plus). Positive knowledge of preparation, sanding, masking, and primer application techniques. Proficiency in using tools and equipment specific to the trade. High level of precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to a job well done. Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with precision. Team player, self-motivated, and organized. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

What We Offer Full-time, permanent position. Day shift, Monday through Friday.
