Who We Are:

We are a small but busy shop along the Alaska Highway looking for another Red Seal Mechanic to complete our team. Our primary focus is maintaining and repairing light-duty fleets with additional work on local customer vehicles.

Position: Journeyman Red Seal Automotive Mechanic

Location: Whitehorse, Yukon

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $50.00 to $80.00 per hour, dependent on experience and certifications

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time, 35 to 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

- Journeyman Red Seal Automotive Mechanic Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Must have own tools
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Effective in performing mechanical and electrical repairs

Responsibilities:

- Road test, inspect and diagnose a variety of makes/models of vehicles.
- Complete a full range of repairs, from routine maintenance to major repairs.




- Perform preventative maintenance services while identifying and recommending additional maintenance needs
- Utilize modern diagnostic equipment and service information to efficiently diagnose and repair vehicles
- Deliver quality workmanship while meeting shop productivity and customer service standards
