Position Summary A Licensed Automotive Technician works within the Service Department under the general supervision of the Service Manager.
A Licensed Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing Cars, Trucks, Vans, SUV’s and other specialty vehicles. Required Skills A Licensed Automotive Technician must possess the following:
- A valid 310S Certification
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License
- A full suite of automotive tools, including all tools that would be necessary to complete jobs that are assigned to him/her on a daily basis.
- Valuable interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid 310T Certification would be an asset
Duties and Responsibilities A Licensed Automotive Technician at North Rock Truck & Tire is responsible for performing the following duties:
- Diagnose and repair cars and light trucks, fleet vehicles and utility trailers.
- Occasionally, Licensed Automotive Technicians will be called upon to repair motor homes and other specialty vehicles/equipment.
- Keep his/her work area clean and organized, and contribute toward general shop organization and cleanliness.
