The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking an Avionics Systems Professional (f/m) to join our Cockpit & Platforms team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work in close collaboration with the Airbus Avionics Systems and Flight Test Support engineering teams based in Mirabel, Quebec (Canada).
You will be part of the Secondary Avionics Systems team responsible for the development cycle of maintenance, navigation, communication, surveillance, cockpit, and cybersecurity avionics systems.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as avionics systems specialist will be to perform the technical integration of the Airbus A220 avionics systems and to ensure support for the production teams and the operators of the A220 fleet.

Your challenges:
- Develop a multi-system integration strategy to secure project milestones while maintaining strict cost and quality standards
- Perform the technical integration of the Airbus A220 avionics systems under your responsibility, with a specific focus on maintenance and communication systems.
- Define requirements, analyze, review, and approve system designs.
- Manage design, validation, verification, and certification in coordination with various integrated product teams and suppliers.
- Develop test procedures and support functional system tests, as well as ground and flight integration and qualification testing.
- Develop and implement resolution plans for test anomalies occurring during the testing phase.
- Provide technical support for aircraft production as well as the A220 in-service fleet
Your boarding pass:
- You hold a university degree in aerospace engineering, electrical, electronic, mechanical, software, aerospace engineering, or equivalent
- You have at least 5 years of experience in avionics systems integration
- You have strong leadership, project management and communication skills
- You have good understanding of engineering change management
- You have basic knowledge of aircraft systems regulations
- You enjoy collaborative work and having the opportunity to work on a range of different topics to support your department
This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide) and possible on-call duties during week-ends and/or holiday seasons.
