We are relocating from Toronto to Vancouver in September. Our son will be in daycare 3 days a week and we are looking for a nanny for the other two days. We are a family of 3 humans and 1 dog (Vizsla).

We enjoy the outdoors (hence the move to Vancouver), with a particular affinity for biking and snowboarding. We like to let our son explore and figure things out on his own with some gentle guidance and spotting (to prevent injury) from us. Our dog, Loki is a high energy working breed.

Once he gets to know someone, he can be very affectionate. He understands that home is a place to relax, but typically gets excited when people arrive and sometimes stressed when people leave. Our nanny would not be expected to exercise the dog, but minor interaction would be required as he is part of the household, so someone who is comfortable around dogs is a necessity.

We dont have a very strict schedule with our son and there would be plenty of flexibility on how to spend the day.
