Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst I to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage and resolve Fixed Income settlement exceptions in CDS and CDCC
- Perform daily CAD settlements for repo, pledge, bond, and safekeeping trades
- Investigate and resolve cash breaks and depository breaks
- Build solid relationships with all business partners locally and globally
- Liaise with regional/Global Fixed Income settlement teams for efficient cross-border settlement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within areas of responsibility
- Coordinate documentation of processes and ensure knowledge continuity with teammates
- Identify risk in cash wire payments and elevate appropriately
- Respond to emails in all team mailboxes
- Manage individual and team request
- Cross train on all settlement desks to add depth for team coverage during staff vacations and absences
- Ad hoc requests (audit confirmations, answering queries)
- Attend team meetings




- Be involved with serviced businesses internal and external vendors/providers

Experience & Qualification Requirements

- Post secondary degree required
- 1+ years of customer service in terms of settlements, fixed income products experience
- MS Office Basic knowledge – Excel
- Canadian Depository System
- Education related to fixed income or bonds
- Knowledge of what bonds are, principal values etc.
- Banking or financial institution experience
- CSC certification
