We’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. You’ll be joining CIBC’s Capital Markets Technology group, supporting our Corporate and Investment Banking business teams. Consultant, Business Systems Analysis, you will be responsible for executing business analysis activities within a matrix organization in order to advance assigned business initiatives and ensure project success.

You will act as a liaison between project stakeholders by serving as single point of contact with respect to requirement expertise, requirement management process and will actively participate in all phases of a project life cycle. You’ll be working in an Agile environment requiring interactions with multiple business groups, developers, and other support teams across CIBC. To successfully perform the work, details on your work arrangement (proportion of on‑site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs.

Solution

Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance. Communication and Relationships - Build solid relationships and partnerships with technical team members, business team and peers.

You can demonstrate experience with:



6+ years’ in a business systems analyst role (preferably supporting a Capital Markets client group) with demonstrated ability to coach and mentor other junior team members. You have strong experience working within an Agile environment supporting Enterprise Applications, as well as a good understanding of the Capital Markets business. You give meaning to data.
