Duties

- Select, cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to quality standards and customer specifications
- Operate meat cutting equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation at all times
- Package meat products securely for retail display or wholesale distribution, ensuring proper labeling and portioning
- Maintain inventory levels by receiving deliveries, inspecting quality, and organizing stock in the storage area
- Uphold food safety protocols by following proper handling procedures, sanitation practices, and hygiene standards
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Support kitchen or food preparation teams as needed with meat-related tasks to ensure smooth operations

Requirements





- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery
- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food handling safety standards
- Ability to operate knives and meat processing equipment safely and accurately
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, skilled attitude
- Previous kitchen experience or familiarity with food packaging is preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
