Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the crew to deliver outstanding hospitality and guest services throughout each voyage or operation.
- Oversee daily vessel operations, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed and operational procedures are efficiently executed.
- Manage guest interactions with professionalism, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive onboard experience.
- Supervise cash handling procedures, including onboard sales transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- Coordinate safety drills, emergency procedures, and maintenance checks to guarantee compliance with maritime regulations.
- Foster a team environment that emphasizes collaboration, accountability,
and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of operations, safety reports, and guest feedback to support ongoing enhancements.
Experience
- Proven leadership experience in a hospitality or maritime setting, demonstrating the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Strong background in customer service with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial transactions in a fast-paced workplace.
- Knowledge of safety standards and emergency response protocols relevant to maritime operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage with guests confidently.
- Previous experience as a Captain or in a supervisory role within hospitality or transportation industries is highly desirable.
