Take on an essential role as a Care Assistant, supporting residents in Nova Scotia’s retirement homes and long-term care facilities. This position emphasizes personal care, safety, and emotional support. We are looking for individuals for casual, part time, and full-time positions, offering flexible shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours during days and evenings.
The primary responsibilities include personal hygiene, companionship, and adhering to infection control policies to ensure residents' comfort and safety in their living spaces. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal hygiene, bathing, and grooming support
- Maintain the confidentiality of resident and staff information
- Offer companionship and emotional support to those in care
- Work within the NSAHO prescribed Scope of Practice
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following protocols Requirements:
