Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service during checkout, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction process
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card processing, and digital payments
- Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos and explaining features when applicable
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
- Responsibly handling cash, credit, and electronic transactions responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures




- Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock levels, customer requests, or technical issues
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to minimize wait times and maximize customer engagement

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math proficiency for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to adopt with multicultural store setup
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail merchandising practices is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
