You will act as liaison between the project team and the supply chain.

Review as sold cost book and lead the creation of the project procurement plan with support for project team. Identify long lead risk materials and work with project management on risk mitigation strategies. Review and challenge of project standard component selection.

Schedule and host project procurement kick-off meeting. Participate in project execution planning meetings to ensure that project parts delivery needs are met in a timely manner through all project phases. Weekly updates of project procurement plan, including forecast updates, escalation and risk.

Provide updates as required for project DVM/whiteboard meetings. Act as liaison between project team and supply chain buyers. Escalation of supplier issues and support of mitigation planning.



Maintain regular product material cost metrics for each project and achieve project cost requirements.

Perform ongoing reviews of product, service, equipment, and expense usage to identify new opportunities for cost savings. Effective use of historical and benchmarking data to ensure competitive pricing (PPV). Create and attend post project review.

Provide design support related to construction of CSA B51 and CSA N285.0 pressure boundary components within the ATS Certificate of Authorization as required. Strictly follow CSA N285/NQA Quality requirements and adhere to ISO procedures and departmental policies. Ensure all business activities are conducted with high ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.

A post-secondary diploma or degree in materials management or equivalent work experience.

Supply Chain

Canada (or equivalent) designation is an asset. PMP training or certification is an asset. Manufacturing or Engineering education or experience is an asset. Advanced knowledge of MS Office software including Excel (pivot tables & VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint. Demonstrated problem solving and continuous improvement skills. operate with minimal supervision.





Experience developing and applying a project material procurement plan. Ability to manage large data files derived from ERP systems. Work in conformance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures and compliance with legislative requirements. Do not remove or alter safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled. Ensure protective equipment is used for assigned tasks and attend health, safety and environmental training.
