Join Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences as a Child and Youth Counsellor specializing in eating disorders and mental health. Help adolescents develop coping skills through individual therapy and group interactions. Working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide therapeutic interventions and assessments using a strength-based model of care.

In this role, you’ll conduct life skills training, assist in creating management programs, and support adolescents through their recovery journey. Your commitment to fostering a protected environment is key in helping these youths thrive. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide evaluations and therapeutic interventions to adolescents
- Conduct life skills training through instruction and exemplification




- Manage psychiatric crises and diffuse extreme behaviors
- Assist coworkers in various therapeutic settings and programs
- Support adolescents facing challenges related to eating disorders Requirements:
- Child and Youth Worker Diploma and OACYC membership
- Certification in First Aid and CPR, Health Care Provider level
- Experience with adolescents facing developmental disorders
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and psychiatric disorders
