We design projects that are fully constructible. AECOM is searching for a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to be based in our Burnaby, BC office for our Water and Wastewater conveyance group. You will have a solid understanding and significant experience in civil engineering, civil technology, project management, design and construction of municipal infrastructure and be familiar with hydraulic modelling and planning principles.
You will be expected to work successfully within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other project team members and customers. You will have a high level of initiative, motivation, and display drive, energy and enthusiasm for getting things done. You will be expected to support in the delivery of infrastructure to customers mostly within the municipal storm water, water and wastewater sector.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Design and project management of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater /drainage conveyance facilities - Prepare documentation for design projects and reports - Prepare construction cost estimates - Preparation of project specifications and contract documents - Perform constructability reviews - Perform contract administration - Perform construction inspections Additional responsibilities will include client communication and management; proposal preparation; coordination with regulatory agencies, project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
