Clinical Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary:

Basic Salary: Up to $3,500

Working Location: Outram Park

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Working Hours:

- Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm

- Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm

Employment Type: 2-Year Contract

- Set up the Procedural Skills Laboratory (PSL) and prepare specimens for research and training activities.

- Provide technical support during workshops and clinical skills training programmes.

- Assist with cadaver handling procedures, including embalming and dissection.

- Perform radiography duties when required.

- Manage laboratory inventory, equipment, and coordinate with external vendors.

- Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.

- Support the Body Donation Programme and Tissue Bank Programme.

- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements





- Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.

- Comfortable handling cadaveric specimens, including formalin-preserved specimens.

- Able to work before/after office hours or weekends when required (advance notice will be provided).

- Comfortable working in a laboratory workplace.

- Prior laboratory or healthcare experience is an advantage.
