Our client, a company specializing in sheet metal fabrication, is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful individual to fill a CNC Laser and Press Brake Operator position in Baie-D’Urfé.This role involves producing parts according to specifications by performing laser cutting, bending, inspection, and safe material handling operations.

Tasks

- Prepare and operate CNC laser cutting equipment and press brakes according to production requirements;
- Read blueprints, work orders, and programs to verify quantities, materials, dimensions, angles, and tolerances;
- Load the appropriate programs, install the required tooling, and perform basic machine adjustments;
- Perform cutting and bending operations on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum parts while adhering to production priorities;
- Measure first-off parts and make necessary corrections to ensure dimensional and angular accuracy;
- Deburr, clean, identify, and route parts to the next production stages when required;
- Promptly report quality, tooling, programming, or material issues;
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job requirements

- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position;
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints;
- Proficiency with imperial and metric measurements;
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work standing, handle metal parts, and follow health and safety procedures.
