Join the First Nations Health Authority as a Community Engagement Coordinator to support health initiatives in BC Treaty 8. Collaborate with communities to enhance health outcomes and drive local engagement activities. This pivotal role mandates a proactive approach in planning and communication, offering support to various First Nations within the Fort St John area.

The ideal candidate will require a university degree in Health Sciences, Education, or Social Services, coupled with 3-5 years of experience in community coordination. Solid knowledge of health systems and First Nations cultural practices will help in identifying and addressing community needs. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide communication and planning support to First Nations
- Facilitate local community engagement activities




- Identify health care needs and inform regional plans
- Travel within the northern region as required
- Develop work plans and report on progress Requirements:
- University degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of coordination experience with First Nations
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
- Knowledge of health-related issues and governance
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite for effective communication Make a meaningful impact on First Nations health by leveraging your skills in community engagement and cultural respect.
