Make a difference as a Community Support Worker at DDA in Vancouver. Assist adults of all abilities in achieving their personal goals through engaging community programs. In this permanent full-time role, you will provide essential support for individuals with developmental disabilities.
You’ll implement goal plans, lead person-centered programs, and contribute to daily living activities to ensure participants thrive. Collaboration with team members is key to delivering meaningful experiences that empower each participant's independence. Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive program workplace
- Support daily living activities alongside participants
- Implement and monitor individualized goal plans
- Lead engaging programs tailored to diverse abilities
- Provide outreach services through community activities Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Social Services or related field
- 1-2 years experience with developmental disabilities
- Skills in client-centered program development
- Valid First Aid/CPR and driver’s license
- Criminal and medical record clearances Enable individuals to build vital life skills while enjoying rewarding community engagement in this impactful role.
