Role Description The Concrete and Coatings role is a full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, AB. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing work sites, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces for foundations, slabs, and flatwork.

The role involves applying protective and decorative coatings, performing concrete repairs and restoration, and ensuring quality control on all completed work. The team member will operate tools and equipment safely, follow project specifications and drawings,



and collaborate with supervisors and crew members to meet deadlines. Additional duties include maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations, and assisting with material handling and site setup as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess practical skills in concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and surface preparation.
- Candidates should possess experience with coatings application, including sealers, epoxies, and decorative finishes.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of construction safety practices, PPE use, and safe operation of tools and equipment.
- Candidates should possess the ability to read and follow basic construction plans, measurements, and project specifications.
- Candidates should possess good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Candidates should possess effective teamwork, communication, and reliability in meeting schedules and project timelines.
- Previous experience in concrete work, coatings, or general construction is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Calgary job sites are beneficial.
