Construction Miners

Timmins West Mine in Timmins, ON and Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON

The schedule is 5-5-4, 10 hour shifts rotating days and nights each week. In this position, you will be responsible for bringing ground support to underground storages, building paste walls and installing paste lines. You will be responsible for installation of shotcrete walls, installations/maintenance of ventilation lines and fans, installation/maintenance of all underground pumps and pumping systems, monitoring and maintaining all pipelines.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $32.95 - $43.50, based on qualifications and experience. Existing vacancy; successful candidate may begin as soon as possible.

Required Skills

- Previous experience is required
- Must be able to operate a jackleg and stopper
- Experience with concrete work, installation of timbers and specialized ground support, forming, vent doors, walls, refuge stations, and welding would be considered an asset
- Practice good housekeeping
- Be committed to safety
- Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core is required
- Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
