Seaway Express is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Cornwall, Ontario. Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email in a qualified and timely manner.
- Track and trace shipments while providing accurate updates to customers.
- Resolve customer concerns and shipment issues with a positive, solution-focused approach.
- Lead on all OS&D; of delivered freight
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment information within the transportation management system (TMS).
- Review and audit customer freight rates to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with customer pricing agreements.
- Verify shipment details, accessorial charges, fuel surcharges, prior to invoicing.




- Prepare shipping documentation and process customer requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through exceptional service.
- Support other administrative and operational duties as required.

Qualifications

- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English and French) an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Experience with transportation management software is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
