Overview
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and patient-focused leader who can build a positive team culture, improve office efficiency, and help deliver an outstanding patient experience while supporting the growth of the practice.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental practice.
* Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and performance.
* Ensure exceptional patient service and handle patient concerns professionally.
* Coordinate appointments to maximize office efficiency.
* Verify insurance benefits, oversee claims, and follow up on outstanding payments.
* Maintain compliance with privacy regulations and health & safety standards.
* Recruit, onboard, and train new team
* Support dentists in achieving practice production and collection goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience as a dental office manager or senior dental administrator.
* Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, and billing procedures.
* Experience with Dentrix software
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
* 3–5 years of experience in a dental practice.
* Experience with HR functions, hiring, and staff coaching.
* Familiarity with Ontario dental insurance and the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), if applicable.
Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour
