We are seeking a Design Specification Rep to join our team.
We are a distributor of high value wood based panels. Most of our products are imported from Europe, US, and other countries. We also work with the leading suppliers in Canada. Our customers are manufacturers in the custom millwork industry, such as custom kitchen manufactures, store fixture manufacturers, and commercial/industrial millwork producers.
Some of The Design Spec Rep's main responsibilities:
Present our products to designers, architects, manufacturers, end clients, etc.
Prepare samples and present them to the various appropriate contacts
Maintain and update our existing samples are our clients' locations
Coordinate and install new samples at our clients' locations
Build strong relationships with our designers, and clients
Generate sales through the specifications of our products for various projects in North America
This position requires:
Must have a car and be mobile to attend meetings in different places in the GTA
Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone
Detail oriented person
Strong organizational skills to be able to work efiiciently around the different meetings and tasks
This position is full time, and it is to be from the office and on the road. It is not for work from home/away.
Company supplies:
We will provide a work cellphone
We will provide monthly car allowance which includes fuel
Work hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5-6pm
We do not usually work on the weekends
It is possible that there will be calls and other tasks after work hours
Compensation:
We offer a starting salary of $65K per year.
In addition to cell phone, and car allowance as mentioned above
